All the prints are high quality Giclée Prints. They are produced by ‘Giclée Masters’ in Pontypridd, near Cardiff. I have been workiing with Alex Harrington of Giclée Masters for many years and I am proud to have my work reproduced by him.
What is Giclée?
‘Giclée printing is essentially digital inkjet printing - using high quality pigment inks on archival grade paper. The latest pigment inks and substrates have vastly extended the longevity of giclée prints allowing them to become art objects in their own right, even making them collectable for museums and galleries.’ (Giclée Masters)
This system of printing seems to be the very best way of reproducing original paintings as prints. It is wonderful to live in times when it is possible to do this so accurately that at times it can be difficult to tell the difference between the original artwork and the reproduction. It is a great way of being able to share the images and I hope that you like my selection of prints so far. I shall gradually be adding more images to the collection.
